Cubs are invited to joint with fellow youth members from across the Moocooboolah Cub Scout District for a bike riding day.
Cubs of all ages and skill levels will have somthing to do, including:
- Longer bike ride from Meadowbank toward Parramatta and back for older cubs and bikes with gears
- Shorter ride for cubs with smaller bikes or without gears, part way along the track toward Parramatta
- Meadowbank park circuit and obstacle course for new riders and cubs who prefer scooters
Cubs will be organised into smaller groups, with a leader and parent helper assigned to each group. A safety briefing and bike inspection will take place before the ride starts.
Cycling 1 badge criteria and elements of Cycling 2 and 3 can be completed by cubs who attend this day.
Parent helpers are needed to assist with many tasks at the event.
